A real home page, jobs you create yourself, and notifications

See today's work the moment you sign in, create one-off jobs, edit properties, units, owners and schedules, and get notified when a job needs you.

Your home page

The first page after you sign in now shows your operation:

  • Today's jobs. "Today" is worked out in each property's local time.
  • Overdue work.
  • Jobs waiting for your sign-off.
  • Today's check-ins and check-outs.
  • A setup checklist for a new team: add a property, add units, set up a default turnover checklist, add your first reservation or recurring job, and invite your team. It disappears once you've done everything.

When there's nothing to show, the page says so. It never shows sample figures.

Create and edit

  • New job, on the task board. Create a one-off cleaning, inspection or other job for any property or unit.
    • Give it a due date and time in the property's local time, a priority, and an assignee.
    • It starts with your default checklist for that type of job.
  • Edit a property's name, address and timezone.
  • Edit a unit, or archive it.
  • Edit an owner's details. Changing an owner's email removes their portal access until they sign in with the new address.
  • Edit a recurring schedule. Changing its timing replaces the upcoming jobs that haven't started.

Notifications

The bell at the top of the app now tells you when:

  • a job has been assigned to you (unless you assigned it yourself);
  • a job has been sent back for rework, with the manager's reason;
  • a problem has been reported on a job. Managers are notified; the description stays on the job itself;
  • a job is overdue. The person it's assigned to is told, or the managers if nobody is.

Notifications only ever go to people in your team, and each person sees only their own.

Accessibility

Form fields across the app are now properly linked to their labels. Screen readers announce each field's name, and tapping a label moves to its field.

What this does not do yet

Notifications are in the app only. There are no email, SMS or push notifications yet.
