Until now, stays could only be viewed. You can now run your bookings from the Reservations page.
What you can do
- Add a reservation. Choose the unit, then enter the guest's name, email and phone, the dates, and how many adults and children are staying. Save it as Confirmed, or as Pending if it isn't firm yet.
- Confirm a pending booking, check the guest in, and check them out.
- Cancel a booking. You're asked to confirm first.
- Edit a booking's dates, party size, notes and guest details.
- Each reservation has its own page showing the guest, the stay, and the jobs linked to it.
Turnovers follow the booking
- Confirming a stay creates its turnover job straight away. Editing the stay later never creates a second one.
- If the stay's checkout date changes, the turnover moves with it.
- Cancelling a stay cancels its turnover, so nobody turns up for a stay that isn't happening.
- Turnovers are now due at 3:00 PM on the checkout day, in the property's local time: ready before the next guest arrives. Previously they were due at midnight at the start of the checkout day.
Good to know
- Ulterva still won't let two confirmed stays overlap on the same unit. If they would, you'll see a clear message saying so.
- A reservation can't be moved to a different unit. Cancel it and add a new one.
- Team members without permission to manage reservations can see them but can't change them.
What this does not do yet
Ulterva does not connect to booking channels such as Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo yet. Reservations are entered in Ulterva.
